Who should choose 1-on-1 personal training?

There are 5 main advantages of 1-on-1 personal training over a group training memberships. If these advantages are important to you, 1-on-1 personal training will likely be a great fit, provided it fits your budget. For all others, the group training memberships is the way to go.

  1. Increased Customization and Personalization - With a 1-on-1 training program the training you are doing can be customized not just to you, but also to you on that specific day. When you have a trainer there with you personally, your workout can be modified to match how you slept last night, what you are doing the rest of the week and any other factor that may impact your training or your results.

  2. MUCH More in Depth Form & Technique Development - This is probably the biggest differentiator and is why we recommend doing at least some 1-on-1 sessions to all clients. There simply is no substitute for 1-on-1 coaching when it comes to improving form and technique to achieve better results and reduce injury risk.

  3. More Scheduling Flexibility - Although we strive to have many class times available, classes are always subject to appealing to the masses for available times. 1-on-1 training on the other hand can be personalized to suit your unique schedule.

  4. Increased Accountability - Again here we do our best with the class membership to provide accountability and check-in on you when you are not making it to class, however some people just need that extra level of accountability where they have someone personally monitoring them and they are not able to blend into the group.

  5. Faster Results - In the end, essentially what you are buying is speed of results and speed of learning. When you increase accountability, improve form & technique and have a program personally created just for you, the natural end result is increased speed in achieving your goals.

The class membership is great, and what you get for the price you pay is absolutely INCREDIBLE value, however if you want to increase any of the variables above and you have the budget to do so, 1-on-1 training is the way to go.
